Seniors want Climate Change Budget measures

An advocacy group National Seniors Australia has compiled a list of budget suggestions for the federal Government to consider.
These include the establishment of a program of Aged Care traineeships aimed at older workers, and tax changes that will encourage pensioners to work if they wish to.
A surprising 85% of older Australians surveyed support stronger action on climate change and National Seniors Australia is proposing Green Bonds, an investment scheme in renewable energy projects.
