An unmatched feat of engineering has just been completed on the surface of Mars. A new mars rover called curiosity has been delicately lowered from a sky crane after a 253 day journey from earth. Scientists at NASA erupted in cheers as the first images were sent back from the rover. Many scientists in Australia were also watching closely.
