From July 1, the Federal government will impose a ban on liquid nicotine coming from overseas, in an attempt to reduce the risks of nicotine addiction in young Australians.

From next month, all imports on liquid nicotine for personal use will be banned, but it can be obtained if a GP decides if vaping is a treatment to quit smoking.

According to public health experts, the ban on liquid nicotine imports is a win on the Australian public health.
