Advocates in South Australia are calling for government to give students access to free sanitary items in schools.

Period poverty is a global issue affecting people who don’t have access to safe and hygienic sanitary products or are unable to manage their periods with dignity due to community stigma and sanction.

End Period Poverty in SA say that period poverty should not serve as a barrier to students accessing education.
