On International Women’s Day Tony Abbott announced his maternity leave policy- one that is much more generous than the Government’s scheme. Abbott is famous for once saying that compulsory paid maternity leave would happen over the then Government’s “dead body”. But does it matter who delivers the policy, so long as Australians end up with the best one?
