Male homsexuality is still illegal in many countries, but it’s pretty unusual to find a place where it’s against the law to be a lesbian. Sri Lanka is one such country, which makes it extra impressive to find a woman from that country heading up an international campaign to carry a resolution about lesbian and gay rights through the United Nations commission on human rights. That woman is Rosanna Flamer Caldera of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA), and she spoke to Nicky Page about the resolution.
