This week, the Australian Medical Association called the Federal goverment to pass a sugar tax to improve Australians’ health.

Organisations such as the Australian Dental Association welcome the proposal, and they have advocated for the proposal for years now. They hope the Federal government work on it.

Countries like Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Samoa have implemented a sugar tax, and it’s different in each country depending on the products and sugar volume.
