Many award winning Aboriginal writers, including David Unaipon, Sally Morgan and Kim Scott have been overlooked by the National Curriculum Review. Both in his official submission as well as the controversial emails leaked last week, Professor Barry Spurr claimed Aboriginal Literature had had a “minimal” impact on Australian Literature. But what if you ask experts in Aboriginal Literature or even Aboriginal writers themselves?
