The government has allocated $10 million dollars towards increasing rates of breastfeeding in Australia, to coincide with World Breastfeeding Week this week.

Our National Breastfeeding Strategy is focused doubling the number of Australian mothers who exclusively breastfeed their children up until the 6-month mark.

But experts warn that throwing $10 million dollars at the problem isn’t going to fix the issue.
