First assisted suicide following Victorian legislation

Laying in her bed, holding her two daughters hands while David Bowie’s Sorrow played, Kerry Robertson became the first Victorian to pass away through the voluntary assisted dying act On July 15th. But the reality is the process of her assisted death took 26 days to complete.

Dr Meredith Doig, Secretary of Dying with Dignity spoke how she feels about the lengthy approval process of the assisted dying act.
