All the achievements of feminism, not to mention a few mod cons, supposedly make it easy, compared with the lives our mothers or grandmothers led in the 1950s. But an artist launching an exhibition in Brisbane tonight, Grace Mercer-Gladdish, says maybe we’re not all that different.
