Professor Gilles-Eric Seralini is a molecular biologist currently on a lecture tour of Australia. He warns that genetically modified wheat is not being tested thoroughly and has the potential to be dangerous to public health.
Professor Seralini’s research led to India declaring a moratorium on GM eggplant. He also won a court case against GM multinational Monsanto over their failure to disclose test results that showed consumption of GM food led to organ damage in rats.
