As we head into the second week of climate negotiations in Paris, a draft agreement is on the table, setting out what needs to be agreed on in week two. It may not sound like much, but this is significant progress – Copenhagen talks failed to even agree on a draft. Still to be debated is whether countries will limit warming to 1.5 degrees or two degrees, and what kind of compensation package developing countries will get to deal with the damaging effects of climate change.
