The people of Ninga Mia, a small Aboriginal settlement near Kalgoorlie, have been shocked and distressed by the demolition of six of their 30 houses. The WA government claims the houses were unfit for habitation but the residents say they have deliberately not been maintained. They claim the real plan is to move the community to make way for mining.
