A new report collated by the National Early Language and Literacy Coalition found out Australian children are getting behind in their language skills. The issue is concerning for educators and experts, saying the lack of language skills can dramatically affect a person in their adulthood with everyday tasks.

The Coallition is asking State and Federal governments to support their strategy on supporting children with literacy and language skills by funding programs to support them from the beginning of their education.
