Calls for more scrutiny of drug use among cramming students

Drugs such as Ritalin and Adderall are mostly designed to treat ADHD, but increasingly they are being misused, to help people study or work for extended periods. While the level of abuse appears to be on the rise in Australia, there is very little hard evidence. Authorities are still unaware of the long term affects of these drugs and how they are accessed. This has become the current goal of health professionals such as Bradley Partridge, a research fellow in public health at the University of Queensland.
