Bob Brown has lashed out at criticism of The Greens tactics on the mining tax in Fairfax newspapers. The Greens will today allow a watered down version of the mining tax originally proposed by Kevin Rudd to pass through the Senate. The Sydney Morning Herald’s chief political correspondent Phil Coorey has used an opinion piece to accuse The Greens of complaining instead of using their power to exert influence over the legislation.
