An Australian-first initiative has come out of a project from the McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism Association this week. It involves helping South Australian growers improve their vineyard sustainability as a response from a call from consumers. The unique project is expected to be replicated across other parts of Australia.

Winemaker Drew Noon is one of the 40 local growers who has joined the McLaren Vale Sustainable Winegrowing Australia (MVSA) and he spoke about what exactly sustainable winemaking is and what it holds for South Australia’s future as a wine region.
