Despite the concerns surrounding a relationship to clotting in rare cases, Health departments worldwide are struggling to explain just how rare it is.  At 1 in 250,000 cases, it is far less than regular medications.  The contraceptive Pill for example can cause clotting in 1 in 1000 cases.
