Are unions relevant to Australian workers anymore? This will be one of the questions on the agenda at the ACTU 2009 Congress that starts tomorrow in Brisbane. ACTU secretary Jeff Lawrence has said that unions have failed to keep up with changes in workplace structure over the past 20 years, and that they need to be rebranded.
