Aryana is a Afghan-Australian journalist based in Brisbane, Queensland. She has worked in broadcast and online journalism for over three years as well as in community organisations for over seven years. She is deeply interested and invested in issues that impact refugee and minority communities, and her knowledge and expertise lies in media reporting and ethics, environmental politics, gender relations, international relations and peace and conflict studies.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Arts (BJ/BA) as well as a Master’s degree in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies (MIR/ MPaCS) from the University of Queensland.
