The Revolutionary Association for the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) is a group dedicated to help women suffering harsh gender inequality in the Middle East. The political group was formed in 1977. Shazia Shakib from RAWA is in Australia to raise support for the plight of women in war-torn Afghanistan.
