Tony Abbott announced on Saturday that if elected he would introduce the Indigenous Advisory Council, a permanent board dedicated to guiding government policy on indigenous affairs. Is the coalition’s proposed Indigenous Advisory Council the answer we’ve been waiting for or is it, as some critics say, just adding red tape?
