Humanity’s actions towards curbing climate change will decide Antarctica’s future, and this frozen land’s resulting changes will decide what will happen to the world itself by 2070.

Antarctica has already lost three trillion tonnes of ice in the last 25 years, and its ice sheet has melted three times faster in the last five years.

A new study has determined two very different possible futures that may come to pass.
