The New South Wales government has launched a campaign to warn young people about the dangers of marijuana, but the Stoner Sloth campaign has gained international attention for all the wrong reasons, and is being parodied all over the internet. Drug experts say it’s targeting the wrong issue, completely ignores recommendations about harm minimisation and is clearly not engaging young people in the conversation. At least not in the way the government wants.
