One of the country’s best known natural landmarks could soon be in desperate trouble if global warming and pollution are not brought under control, experts say. The Great Barrier Reef is one of Australia’s biggest tourist attractions, and is worth over five billion dollars in revenue each year. But a report released this week by the Climate Commission says the Reef is at risk from rising sea waters, pollution and climate change and all parties are in agreeance that something must be done, but what?
