A prisoner in Victoria is fighting the Department of Justice for access to IVF treatment. Kimberley Castles was sentenced to three years, with a minimum of 18 months for fraud in November last year. She turns 46 in December, the legal cut off date for access to IVF in Victoria. Castles is willing to pay for the procedure, and says that by denying her access to treatment, the department is denying her human rights.
