Trade Unions call for increase to minimum wage

The Australian Council of Trade Unions has called for the Fair Pay Commission to increase the minimum wage by $21 a week. The move has been slammed however by lobby group, Restaurant and Catering Australia, who claim that with employers struggling to pay their bills in the current financial crisis, an increase of this amount is ludicrous.
