The Wire Summer takes a look at the key issues in Higher Education for 2014 following the announcement of the federal government’s proposed higher education changes. The new structure, which would reduce the amount of commonwealth funding going to universities, allow universities to set their own fees, and increase interests rates on student loans, was met with resistance from both students and academics.
