By the end of this month the federal government will chose a site to dump nuclear waste somewhere in the Northern Territory. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has said the final decision will be based on science but can nuclear waste ever be dumped without negative consequences? Professor Peter Johnson from RMIT University doesnt see a problem with dumping however David Noornan from the Australian Conservation Foundation Disagrees.
