It seems no one is allowed to make fun of tomorrow’s royal wedding, well at least not the ABC’s Chaser team. The ABC announced ealier today that the Chaser’s satirical approach to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding would be cancelled because of instructions from the Prince’s office, Clarece House, that footage could not be used for satire and drama purposes. The Wire’s Sionnie Kelly spoke to Grant Roff, lecturer in the School of Media and Communications at RMIT University about this royal censorship.
