The 61st Annual Blake Prize was announced in Sydney last week, celebrating contemporary Australian Art and poetry that explores the realms of the spiritual and the religious. This year the exhibition of finalists has broad horizons – far from its origins as a conventional religious art prize, the exhibition has become a conversation on the diversity of spirituality in contemporary Australia.
