The proposed re-draft of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area Management Plan has angered locals who are worried the move by Premier Will Hodgman will open up pristine wilderness to logging and big resort development. While the government says it will help the tourism industry, environmentalists believe it will ruin this untouched wilderness forever – and the tourism industry with it.
