A new report released by the Australia Institute is urging the Tasmanian government to produce a State of the Environment report.

The Tasmanian Planning Commission has failed to produce these reports since 2009 because of a lack of funds. The Commission announced they will release their latest report in 2024.

The report called Get Your Skates On: Tasmania’s next State of the Environment Report” says the lack of transparency is already affecting Tasmania’s environment.
