Tarnanthi Festival celebrates launch of ‘Open Hands’

The works of ten women’s art collectives, celebrating inter-generational sharing and knowledge are exhibited in ‘Open Hands’, the 2020 focus-exhibition as part of Tarnanthi Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art.

The works consist of weaving, photography, sculpture, ceramics and more, combining traditional and contemporary practices to tell rich stories from across Australia.
