Australian sustainable tour destinations can be certified

The Augusta Margaret River Region in WA and the Central Coast of New South Wales are the newest sustainable destinations in Australia by receiving an ECO Destination Certification. The destinations follow certification of the Daintree Forest in Queensland.
The recognition was awarded by EcoTourism Australia.
