Study reveals legal favour for alcohol industry

A recent study published by the Sax Institute and the George Institute for Global Health has revealed courts favour the alcohol industry in more than 75 per cent of cases across Australia.

According to researchers, courts can consider competition and noise issues, yet are unable to consider public health and family violence impacts when dealing with litigations regarding the approval and placement of liquor outlets.
