Research conducted by Australian researchers shows a new way of doing Electro-Convulsive Therapy yields better results for patients than the regular way. They reviewed studies of ultra-brief pulse right unilateral (RUL) ECT against its counterpart and found patients mostly had the same benefits but with fewer side effects.
