Founded in 1860, The Border Watch Newsgroup in the South East of South Australia has always been locally-owned and told community stories.

With three mastheads: The Border Watch; South Eastern Times & The Pennant; the editorial staff has reported on local government and business, births, deaths, Christmas parades, community sport and much more for 159 years but this week will close its doors.
