The unemployed, low income families and the disabled will be hit hard by payment and tax cuts in the 2016 Australian Federal Budget.

But, the government is aiming to boost employment opportunities for Australia’s youth with a new employment program, Jobs PaTH (Prepare-Trial-Hire) is designed to help up to 120, 000 job seekers under 25 years as a way to boost employment in Australia.

The program has been cautiously welcomed by Australian Council of Social Service: ACOSS, but others see problems with the plan.
