Airline pilots have to do random tests in a flight simulator every few months to make sure they are still up to the job. At a meeting of the Royal College of Surgeons today Queensland surgeon Professor Peter Woodruff suggested that in the wake of the Dr Death scandal in Bundaberg perhaps surgeons should have to undergo similar checks.
