The Wire

The tiger shark has the reputation of being one of the only sharks considered a real danger to humans – second most likely to be involved in an attack. Earlier this week a tiger shark attacked an inflatable dinghy off Port Douglas in north Queensland. A Brisbane based marine biologist is researching these sharks so we can learn more about them, to better protect both the shark and humans that share their waters.
