Earlier this year The Wire reported on the commencement of dredging to widen the channel in Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne. Today the Port of Melbourne Corporation, who are coordinating the dredging, met with Victoria’s Independent Monitor to discuss the first breach of environmental standards.
