Last night Scott Morrison announced an indemnity scheme for GP’s administering COVID-19 vaccines.

The scheme is designed to encourage younger people to have conversations with their GP about the AstraZeneca vaccine and push forward Australia’s vaccine roll out.

With 7.4 million vaccinations given so far, Australia’s vaccine roll out remains behind schedule. However, Associate Professor Sheena Sullivan, says young Australians should remember that expert advice still recommends the Pfizer vaccine for under 60’s.
