In just 9 days Scotland votes for its independence. With a good performance in debates, Alex Salmond’s Scottish National Party has edged ahead in polls for the first time. But as Senator Doug Cameron says, the only poll that matters is on polling day. Why has the SNP surged ahead, when just a few months ago independence looked like a pipe dream?
