Research reverses aspects of female infertility in mice

The most important factor in female reproduction is the quality of the eggs, which declines with age.

While hormone treatments, such as IVF, can increase the number of eggs released, there are no current treatments available to improve egg quality in humans.

However, a recent study has found a non-invasive treatment that is able to reverse the reproductive clock in older female mice, offering hope for those having trouble conceiving.
