Plastic surgery is on the rise. And reality TV has played a big role in leading people to go under to get beautiful. A report published by the Medical Journal of Australia states that the number of procedures has climbed by 15% in most countries, including Australia, between 2006 and 2007. Psychologists are questioning why TV producers aren’t obliged to adopt the rigours of health professionals when dealing with people who are emotionally and psychologically vulnerable.
