September 15th is R U Ok? Day. A national initiative to end suicide through starting conversations that could save a life.
The campaign was started in 2009 by Gavin Larkin 14 years after the death of his Father, Barry Larkin, a successful businessman who took his own life in 1995.R U OK? Day aims to start conversations around the country, to stop personal problems from becoming a life-threatening issue.”It was an honour to represent the wider Australian Community on what has historically been a toboo subject in the Australian Psyche!
