Queensland needs Federal partnership for energy efficient housing

With heatwaves and wild weather becoming the norm, houses need to adapt to become energy efficient homes.

The Federal government created the Household Energy Upgrades Fund to create more energy efficient social housing, and almost all of the state and territory governments have struck partnerships.

The only state missing out in the Eastern coast is Queensland, who has the record of most hospitalisations from heat-related conditions each year, according to a report.
