Reconciliation Australia has called on other organisations to create a Reconciliation Action Plan to continue closing the gap. The Australian Psychology Society will launch their first Action Plan to increase Indigenous psychologists on the 29 September in Perth, WA, and they have been developing this plan for a long time.

The Action Plan is divided into four main points which will help psychologists to understand and work with Indigenous people, as well as help new Indigenous psychologists into their career.This is one of many steps, and many challenges are coming to update the plan.
